Raised and studied in Windsor, ON. before heading out West and graduating from the Red Deer College Film School. During his time there, he directed The Blind, a short film that won first place in the worldwide 4880 Film Festival. With a love of his hometown, and a desire to create something unique on screen using an untapped landscape, Dylan returned to Windsor in 2007 to film his first feature film Baby Blues. The Canadian Indie hit starred Jenny Levine from the Fox TV show 24, as a woman struggling to come to terms with the devastating mistakes of her past so she can alter the course of her future. After a successful opening in Windsor, Toronto the film travelled out west. The film was nominated for Best Picture at the Alberta Film Awards in 2008, and enjoys a run on Canada's SuperChannel. While working on post production work for a few film and documentary projects, Pearce returned to Windsor yet again where he teamed up with 12.13 Productions Inc., The Rocky Mountain Picture Co. (who produced Baby Blues), and local writer Christopher Lawrence-Menard on Whatever It Was. Dylan relocated to Edmonton to produced the comedy The Bike Heist that is currently in post production, the film was co-produced with Treefort Labs from Vancouver.
