Remember

That story tells about a mysterious journey by a man who has no memory. This story began with this man, with the help of one of his fellow Auschwitz survivors and a handwritten message, making a trip across the country to find the former Nazi responsible for the death of his family. Perhaps it is the journey that carries many questions in the mind of this man.

November 16, 2016 This lurid and disorienting story of an old man out for revenge is a Memento-like narrative puzzle enhanced by the immense presence of Christopher Plummer.

April 07, 2016 Atom Egoyan's bold but often ludicrous Remember plays a like a mash-up of The Terminator, Marathon Man and Memento, as filtered through the lens of an old Twilight Zone episode.

March 24, 2016 There is too much convenient coincidence and less tension than a payback drama needs, but the cast is as good as always.

February 18, 2017 Remember is a gloriously trashy thriller, turning a narrative that could have easily been prestige season awards-bait into pure nonsensical pulp.
