Zeke Thomas is a comic actor, voiceover artist, and writer/producer who is best known as the brown and fuzzy guy in TV commercials and director of viral video hit "How to Pick Up a Girl at the Gym". Together with Jarrett Sleeper, they produce content for the Jarrett Sleeper YouTube Channel. You probably recognize his darling face from commercials for "Hyundai", "Pizza Hut", and "J-Date", but he's also voiced a series of products for "Apple" computers, donned a giant fat-suit for "Red Bull", and appeared as a neck-tattooed gang member with a sucking chest wound in "Untold Stories of the ER". If you look closely, you can also catch Zeke in supporting appearances in the basic cable classic "How Beer Pong Saved My Life" and urban comedy(?) "Getting Played".As a writer, Zeke created and starred in the pilot "Sketch Wars", a sketch comedy competition show based on his work with "The Stranger than Fiction Show" ensemble. He is currently developing a mock docu-series/reality show "Monster Hunters" based on the successful "UDAZ-DO: The Way of Unarmed Defense Against Zombies" martial arts/comedy stage show. Together, with co-creator Jarrett Sleeper, the Taylor Brothers round up varieties of monsters and while a Reno 911!-like film crew documents their adventures. Also on the development slate is "South Bay Plaza", is a single camera comedy that satirizes the fitness industry and small business politics. Co-created with Tyler Jolley, the show follows three formerly popular high school friends that start a business in their 30's only to find that they must re-climb the social ladder.Since 2003, Zeke has averaged over 60 live improv comedy shows a year with The Stranger than Fiction Show and improv rock band Phoenyx. The show has taken Zeke all over the country including as the opening act for Wayne Brady at the Lowell Comedy Festival and recent appearance on The Fine Brother's premium Youtube Channel web series "MyMusic" This year he's ventured into hosting a monthly story tellers night at the LA Connection called "Oral Traditions" where his comic friends come in and share true stories based on a selected topic. In his spare time he produces and directs web content ranging from wrap-up/instant sketch comedy shows like "STF: Public Access", corporate content for "Film Happens Everywhere", and traditional web series "Turn The Page".Zeke was born and raised in Hermosa Beach, CA by two hippie parents who encouraged him to pursue to the arts. He attended his first audition at age five and promptly cried. He was and continues to be a sensitive creature. He rediscovered acting during his senior year of college where he decided to give improv a try and the direction of his life was forever changed. Zeke graduated from Boston College with a BA in International Studies and has used that degree to write television pilots, re-write features, and make (funny) dick/fart jokes. He resides in Los Angeles where he surfs (poorly) and gets beat up at local MMA gyms. His long suffering girlfriend approves of most of this "bro"-ish behavior. Show less «
