From Vancouver Canada, Michael Tayles' career took off quickly, landing roles like "Red", opposite Sam Elliot and Jerry O'Connell on the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie The Ranger The cook and A Hole in the Sky (1995), and survivor "Pancho Delgado" in Paramount Pictures' Alive along side Ethan Hawke (1993). With a background in musical theater, Tayles honors his love for the artistic process by spending as much time in the theater as his life will allow. He has been trained in theater and voice. Tayles leaves an unforgettable impression with his popular guest-starring and recurring roles, namely as "Walt" in Gemini 3 time nominated series Destiny Ridge (1993) and "Dr. Graydon" on the Stargate: Atlantis (2007); as "Simon", opposite Sarah Chalke, Stephanie Zimbalist, and Brendan Fletcher in USA's Dead Ahead (1996); as "Ewan" in the much-talked about "The L Word " (2005) and alongside Edward James Olmos and Jamie Bamber as Viper pilot "Flyboy" of the hit series Battlestar Galactica 2.01, 2.02, (2006). He appeared as "Deputy Billy Maxwell" alongside Lance Henrickson and Terry O'Quinn in Millennium (1997). In film, Mike has starred and appeared in several independent and studio pictures, including The Bed (2003), Cool Money (2005), 'Ken Johnston' in The BBC Docu-dramas: Surviving Disaster (2006). More recently he appeared opposite Margaita Levieva, as "Young Cop", in David S. Goyer's The Invisible (2007). Mike has been training with renowned coaches like Warren Robertson, David Rotenberg and Lewis Baumander.
