Logan Martin

Logan Rhett Martin was born in Huntsville, Texas, located north of Houston in East Texas. His father Robert was an electrician, and his mother Rita was a homemaker. At the age of three, he moved with his family to Battle Creek, Michigan, where he was raised. As a child, he would perform skits for his family in the living room relentlessly every night. He recalled his first moment of knowing he wanted to act was at five years of age while watching Jim Carrey's films. Though he was a good student at an early age, he felt restless and bored, so his focus became being the class clown. In high school, Martin was highly focused on participating in sports. He became an all-state track athlete and played football and basketball. His first job was as a certified lifeguard. Though he was a bit shy about it, his desire to perform was ever-present, so he took acting classes and auditioned for, and performed in several school plays.After graduation from high school, he went on to study theatre and business at community college with the target of moving to Los Angeles clearly in his sights. In 2010, with his passion for performing as his driver, Martin moved to Los Angeles to pursue his goal of making acting his career. Shortly after his arrival, Martin began studying at Playhouse West, whose approach is primarily based on Sanford Meisner's technique. He then began to immerse himself in the rigorous professional environment of the Ivana Chubbuck Studio. Martin continues to build his resume in film and television.Outside the world of acting; Martin enjoys reading, watching and playing sports, playing guitar, singing and songwriting, snowboarding, and camping. He has always sought to expand his knowledge of philosophy by studying philosophers of past and present generations, as well as taking part in spiritual meditation retreats. Martin is committed to raising awareness for, providing assistance to, and heightening compassion for two social causes - helping underprivileged children and protecting endangered wildlife.
